Corbyn Effect

2017 has been a good year for Labour in Sussex. Increased majorities in Hove and Brighton Kemptown at the General Election, the best showing for years in many other seats and the first Labour Councillors in Worthing for 41 years and Lancing for 18.

Was it down to Momentum, Jeremy Corbyn or the worst Conservative campaign in years? How do Labour go further and win over Tory voters? How can Labour win in Chichester, Bexhill and everywhere in-between?

Hopefully our panel can help answer some of these questions and more over the course of the evening.

This is a fundraiser for Worthing West CLP’s 2018 Worthing Borough Council election campaign. Copies of the book ‘The Corbyn Effect’, edited by panellist Mark Perryman, will be on sale for £15 with £6 for every book sold going to the CLP.

Tea and coffee will be available for a £1 Donation.
