Roads fit to drive on

The state of our roads and pavements says it all about the Tory-controlled County Council’s inability to deliver for our area. There’s hardly a road across Worthing and over to Rustington that hasn’t got a pot hole or a developing sink-hole.

Damaged Roads

Last year, the Council spent more than £50K paying out claims for damage to vehicles caused by potholes. Wouldn’t it make more sense to use the money to repair the roads?

Labour will bring the privatised road maintenance contract in-house to give better value-for-money for residents and review the priorities to ensure Worthing and district gets a better deal
