Councillor Carl Walker
Labour Group Deputy Leader Councillor for Selden Ward on Worthing Borough Council
Councillor Walker was elected to represent Selden in May 2019.
Dr Walker teaches at The University of Brighton , with research interests in mental health and social inequality, but has lived in Selden ward for 13 years, where he is a parent governor of a local school. As a community psychologist, whose work is focussed on developing supports for children with mental health difficulties, he knows that there is much more we can to do to support families who live in Worthing. As a Labour councillor, he will bring fresh ideas on housing, health, the environment and on helping the most vulnerable people in our town.
Surgeries are held on the last Saturday of every month at the labour hall 11-1.
