Councillor Caroline Baxter
Deputy Labour Group Leader and Councillor for Worthing East Division on West Sussex County Council
Before Covid set in, Caroline visited hundreds of residents, finding out what people really want for our town, such as regenerating the town centre, improving the street scene, addressing climate and environmental issues and providing truly affordable homes.
As a local Parish Councillor and Chair at Sompting, she worked hard in the local community, organising events, festivals, environmental projects, planning, and health and well-being initiatives. She helped local groups and charities apply for funding to benefit the community.
Caroline has run local businesses in Brighton and Worthing for over 20 years and worked as a start-up business mentor. She is committed to developing and sustaining jobs and training for local residents.
